Controversial social media influencer, Daniel Regha has sent tongues wagging online after he took a swipe at ace singer, David Adeleke aka Davido who attended the candlelight memorial service of his late colleague, Mohbad, yesterday.
Regha wondered why the ‘Electricity’ crooner attended the late former Marlian Music signee’s memorial service despite following his ex-record label boss, Naira Marley, on Instagram.
Taking to his X page, formerly known as Twitter, Daniel Regha noted that Davido is yet to unfollow Naira Marley on the popular microblogging platform.
He proceeded to ask how the DMW boss can claim he is seeking justice for Mohbad, while still associating with one of those accused of complicity in his death.

Speaking via his social media page, he tweeted: “Davido is attending Mohbad’s candlelight memorial but still following Naira Marley on Instagram?
“How can one claim to be seeking justice for the dead & still associate with one of the people that assaulted ’em? This was how he supported the EndSARS protests then denied afterwards.”
After Regha’s post on Davido made the rounds on social media, it elicited mixed reactions from netizens, curious, a lot of them shared his sentiment.
A Twitter user, alexis_ley133 said: “Hate him or love him, the boy stated the obvious. Stay in one place, you can’t be seeking justice and still be associating yourself with the prime suspect.”
Another internet user, rita_clothing23 added: “David na eye service person since 90’s .”
sammysticx added: “But what he said is true…..most of them don’t want to cut ties with each other….the more u look the less you see.”
While wealth_rence_ said: “Well Daniel Regha is stating the fact. I see how most of you have been raining curses on whoever is still following naira Marley and his crew, but it’s cool for David to still follow him because he’s attending the candlelight event and cos he’s your fav, and he’s excepted from those curses. Hypocrisy lives in Nigeria.”
However, a netizen identified as opeyemifamakin, disagreed with Regha, noting that, “He didn’t go but he’s dragging someone who went.”
Mohbad died on September 12, after his demise, several Nigerians pointed accusing fingers at Naira Marley, who they alleged bullied the late singer during his lifetime.
