Dad, Aunt, colleagues eulogise Yul Edochie at 40

Yul Edochie, earlier in the day thanked God for attaining the special age and said his greatest wish is to become the Nigerian president

Veteran actor, Pete Edochie, has taken to social media to celebrate one of his sons, and popular actor, Yul Edochie, who turned 40 today, Friday, January 7, 2022.

The seasoned administrator and broadcaster shared a picture of his son on his Instagram page and wished his last child a happy birthday.

 “The Last from my loins is 40 today. Happy 40th son, Yul Edochie,” he said.

His dad was not the only family member who celebrated the 40-year-old on his birthday, his aunt, who is also a popular Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie, equally shared the special and joyful occasion with the nephew on her Instagram page.

She wrote, “My great people in the world, please join me and celebrate Odogwu’m Yul Edochie because today is his birthday.

“Happy birthday, Odogwu’m. I wish you every good thing in life you wish your self and I also wish you many many more fruitful years ahead in Jesus’ mighty name. Enjoy yourself like never before because many could not celebrate.”

Some of his colleagues in the movie industry were not left out as they also eulogised him on the attainment of the special age.

Another Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie, described him as a gentleman and man of integrity. 

“Happy Birthday to a complete gentleman. God bless you and keep you today and always. Your Integrity is exemplary @yuledochie. Have a blast. God’s blessings always brotherly.” she posted. 

The celebrant, Yul Edochie who earlier in the day referred to himself as a man of peace and love, thanked God for the opportunity to see another birthday.   

The actor who noted that all his wishes and prayer points over the years have always been answered added that he has just one more, which is to become the president in 2023.

He wrote: “Happy 40th birthday to me. Happy birthday to a man of peace and love.

“I thank God for letting me see this day in my life. I thank God for all His blessings.

“All the prayer points and wishes I had many years ago God has answered all of them and even more. And I’m grateful to Him.

“Dear God, please make me the President of Nigeria in 2023 so I can wipe away the tears of my people.

“Thank you, Lord for answering my prayer.”
