Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has likened the running of the United States of America under President Donald Trump to the corrupt governments in Africa.
The Award-winning author made this known during a recent interview on the CBC network.
According to the 47-years-old writer, Trump’s administration feels like a Nigerian government.

She went on to emphasize that the current administration “really does feel” like America is being governed by an “African big man.”
Speaking during the chat, Adichie said, “America no longer feels aspirational to me… The present administration in the U.S. just feels to me like a Nigerian government. It really does feel like America is being governed by an ‘African Big Man’.”
