New Chelsea manager, Graham Potter, has been told by the club’s owners that he must achieve three basic things this season to retain his job.
The former Brighton Albion boss took over from German tactician, Thomas Tuchel, who was sacked on Wednesday, September 7, after which the Englishman signed a five-year deal.
Chelsea have been poor this season, and are currently sixth in the Premier League table, having lost 3 games out of the 7 matches they have played in the league and European competition.
The Blues have delivered a number of concerning performances this new season, one of which is the Champions League 1-0 loss to less fancied Dinamo Zagreb which culminated in the sack of former manager, Tuchel.

According to Daily Mail, the Chelsea owners have asked Graham Potter to ensure the West London club secures a top-four finish in the Premier League and have a deep run in the Champions League.
His third major assignment is to improve performances and forge a new philosophy at the club; the manager is expected to get the boot if he fails to achieve all these set targets.
According to the report, the Englishman will be granted a second season and supported with new signings next summer if he achieves the targets or a clear progress on and off the pitch.
With this weekend’s Premier League matches postponed, the new manager is expected to take charge of his first match in next Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Bundesliga side, RB Salzburg.
