Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle has hailed Super Falcons manager, Justine Madugu, after leading his team to win the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
He congratulated the Nigerian tactician during a recent interview with the Super Eagles media.
Nigeria picked up their 10th trophy in the competition, following a 3-2 comeback win against the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco in the final.
During the tournament, the Super Falcons scored a total of 14 goals and conceded just three.

The quartet of Chiamaka Nnadozie, Michelle Alozie, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Esther Okoronkwo were named in the Team of the Tournament, while Madugu emerged as the “Coach of the Tournament”.
Reacting to the feat, Chelle said the Super Falcons manager and his team deserved the trophy.
Speaking during the chat, he said, “I want to congratulate the coach, it was a great tournament, I’m so proud of you and your technical staff. You deserve this trophy. I’m so happy for you and your family.”
