England manager, Thomas Tuchel, has said he is not bothered by the provocative chants sung by the Three Lions fans during the win over Latvia on Tuesday.

The former Chelsea boss was hired to replace Gareth Southgate as England coach in January. He has gone on to preside over a flawless qualifying campaign with six wins from six.

England officially booked a place in the 2026 World Cup following the 5-0 win over Latvia and became the first European nation to qualify for the tournament.

Despite this, a healthy contingent of fans that followed the Three Lions to the Latvian capital, sang sarcastic chants in  the rain before and during the encounter.

Shortly before kick-off, fans chanted, “We’ll sing when we want, we’ll sing when we want, Thomas Tuchel, we’ll sing when we want.”

They then followed that up with, “Are we loud enough for you?” They added, “Our support is f*****g s**t.”

However, the German tactician refused to take the fans’ behaviour to heart, insisting he has ‘no problem’ with them.

Responding after the game, Tuchel told ITV, “I got some stick in the first half! Fair enough and well done.

“Good sense of humour and no problem, I can handle it. It was brilliant support from start to finish.”

He added in his post-match press conference, “It made me smile and this is how it has to be. It’s British humour and I surely can take it. No harm done…”
