Brentford have finally accepted Manchester United’s bid for pacy winger, Bryan Mbeumo.
The London outfit approved the deal worth more than £70m after both clubs agreed that a fee of £65m will be paid up front and a further £6m could follow in add-ons.
With the development, the Cameroon international is expected to undergo a medical with the Manchester club before Ruben Amorim’s squad fly to the United States on Tuesday for their pre-season tour.
The Red Devils had earlier submitted a first bid – worth an overall £55m – at the start of June but it was rejected.

They also failed to close the deal with an improved second bid of £62.5m at the end of same month.
However, the Bees finally accepted a third offer from United on Friday after indicating that they are now satisfied.
Mbeumo is set to become United’s third signing of the summer following the arrivals of forward, Matheus Cunha and left-back, Diego Leon.
The 25-year-old striker, who joined Brentford in 2019 from Troyes, will become the club’s biggest ever sale.
