Police on Thursday October 8, 2020, dispersed #EndSARS protesters in Lagos.
The protesters were demanding the dismantling of the Special Ant-Robbery Response Squad (SARS) unit of the police for alleged brutality and extortion.
The protest, which kicked-off on Wednesday in Ikeja, was extended to Lekki Toll Gate opposite Oriental Hotel.

It was gathered that the Police arrived the Toll Gate around 7am to await the protesters.
A source said that immediately the protesters gathered, police detectives dispersed them with some of them allegedly assaulted.
Musicians Falz and Runtown have vowed not to back down on the protest.
