According to him, his mandate was stolen and he will do everything legitimately possible to reclaim his mandate

He called on his followers to exercise some patience and restraints and urging them not to resort to violence

He pledge to challenge what he called the rascality in court

He thanked Obidients and all other Nigerians who trooped out en masse to vote on February 25, asking them to remain calm and peaceful as he, Datti and LP fight for justice.

Obi’s running mate in the election, Yusuf Datti-Ahmed, had earlier on Wednesday, hinted that they would challenge the outcome of the election at the courts. Their resolve comes on the heels of similar stance by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to challenge the election results in which INEC announced Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner.
