The spate of kidnappings across the country took a frightening dimension on Tuesday when a judge of the Federal High Court, Akure, Justice Abdul Dogo, was abducted.
Justice Dogo was whisked away by unknown gunmen while he was returning to Akure from Abuja.
Reliable sources informed TheNiche on Wednesday that the kidnappers had made contact and demanded N50 million to release their abductee.
It was also gathered that the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) has deployed the head of the IGP Intelligence Response Team, Abba Kiyari, to Akure over the incident.
