BREAKING: EFCC arraigns Dasuki, Yuguda, Bafarawa, others on fresh charges

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday arraigned former National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki (rtd), former minister of State for Finance Bashir Yuguda, and former Sokoto State Governor Attahiru Bafarawa, Bafarawa’s son Sagir and others on fresh charges of money laundering and criminal breach of trust.

The charges against all the accused persons are currently being read to them at Court 24 of the FCT High court, Abuja.

The EFCC on Monday charged Dasuki, a former Director of Finance at the Office of National Security Adviser Shuaibu Salisu, former General Manager at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Aminu Babakusa, Waripamowei Dudafa (now at large), former Senior Special Assistant, Domestic Affairs to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan as well as two companies, Acacia Holdings and Reliance Hospitals.

They were docked at the Federal High Court, Abuja on a 19-count charge of money laundering and criminal breach of trust.
