Abuja–Kaduna train derails, sends passengers into panic

A passenger train en route from Abuja to Kaduna derailed on Tuesday morning, leaving several carriages overturned and passengers trapped in fear and confusion.
The mishap occurred along the busy corridor shortly after the train left Abuja around 11 a.m, according to Arise News.
Witnesses described chaotic scenes as travellers scrambled to escape, many unsure of the extent of the danger.
The cause of the derailment has not yet been established, and there is no official confirmation of injuries or fatalities.
Military personnel were swiftly deployed to the location to help evacuate stranded passengers and secure the area.
As of the time of reporting, authorities have not issued a formal statement on the incident.
