Stand-up comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, has said he and his colleague, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth are not at logger heads, adding that they parted ways because he wanted to explore.
He made the clarification in a trending interview on social media.
Bovi and Basketmouth had a history of stage collaborations before they decided to go their separate ways.
However, while discussing his relationship with Basketmouth during the recent chat, Bovi attributed their split to his quest for financial independence.

While insisting that they are still friends, the thespian said he could no longer be sharing money with his colleagues after collaborations.
He further noted that the decision granted him the opportunity to grow financially.
“Basketmouth and I are cool. Nothing happened. Interests changed. I wanted to focus more and spend more time with my family, and also to elevate myself.
“I easily get bored doing something for too long, so I try something else. As you know, I went back to TV because I wanted to build my own brand. When I host shows at Eko Hotels, it fills up. So, why should I go and share money? Why should we be many doing one show?” Bovi asked.
