Body of Kano man who fell into open water recovered
The Kano State Fire Service has recovered the body of a 42-year-old man, Sani Uba Kwaru, from an open water at Dan Agundi, Kano.
The service said it received a distress call from one Hamisu Muhammad at about 1pm on Monday, reporting that a man had fallen into the water.
In a statement, the service’s Public Relations Officer, PFO Kabiru Isah Jafar, said its rescue team mobilised to the scene and recovered Kwaru unconscious.

The service urged residents to exercise caution around open water and other potentially dangerous areas.
