Nigerian rapper and singer Emeka Akumefule, better known as Blaqbonez, has accused his fellow Nigerian artists of snubbing his latest song, ‘Chanel’, claiming that the music industry is “very wicked.”

He made the allegation recently in a now-trending post shared on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

According to the 30-year-old singer, there is an inflation of egos and a distinct lack of support among musicians.

He added that while he frequently supports his colleagues by sharing their new music on his social media handles, they rarely reciprocate the gesture.

Addressing the matter via his verified page, Blaqbonez wrote: “I think this [music] industry is very wicked because since I dropped Chanel, none of my peers have posted it.

“@Drake I posted yours last week, @centralcee @1future to @1GunnaGunna I support you when you drop but when I put out the biggest song of the summer its crickets, the double standards.”
