Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola, has alleged that majority of men cheat on their partners, adding that infidelity is a norm in Nigeria.
She made the assertion recently during a podcast interview with fellow actress, Ayo Adesanya.
According to the veteran thespian, a staggering 90 to 99 per cent of men are unfaithful to their partners.
The 55-year-old, however, attributed the behavior to cultural and generational patterns, stating that many men are raised in environments where infidelity has been normalized.

She further explained that some men learnt the act of cheating from their fathers.
Speaking during the chat, Akintola said, “I don’t know where this idea of fidelity in Africa came from. Your father cheats, your grandfather cheated, my father has two wives.
“I can’t tell you whether to stay or leave but you leave this one and move to the next one, you still have the same issue. They all cheat, 90 percent of them cheat, it’s engraved in them.
“I know you might want to change them but I hear characters are fully formed when you’re seven years old. Some of them started by following their daddy to girlfriends’ house.
“I’m not excusing it don’t get me wrong, I am just being realistic when it comes to these kinds of situation.”
