Twitter users are sharply divided over the choice of an outfit worn by Nigerian Model, actress and former Big Brother Africa housemate, Beverly Ada Osu.
The 25-yearold was on Tuesday seen scantily clad in what looks like a Catholic nun’s outfit, holding a rosary and puffing a cigar on the cover of TL magazine.
In one of the shots, she displayed a side boob and in another a full cleavage.
Twitter buffs said it was sacrilegious because the outfit is a symbol of sanctity and holiness
Many asked what message she was sending by dressing as a nun albeit in a seductive way.
“Beverly Osu is the definition of what is wrong with society. Her portrait does not define “woke” it only portrays her Hoeism. And using the rosary in that concept is frankly disturbing. A really stupid human being.. Am ready. Come at me…” Klaus said on Twitter.
Charles Sampson said Beverly Osu went overboard and abused a religion and people’s belief.
“This nonsense called photo-shoot is becoming crazy in this generation. How can Beverly Osu abuse someone’s belief, doctrine, and religion like that? It’s Totally Nonsensical,” Sampson said.
“If you want to blow do something different, stir controversy, get people talking, be creative….. But messing with religion is plain stupid, disrespectful and low,” Mr. Cooker said.
Beverly is not new to controversy after her role at Big Brother Africa during which she was seen with Angelo kissing passionately in a bathtub.
