Bernardo Silva ahead of City’s match against Chelsea on Thursday, warned his City teammates that they cannot afford to drop points any longer

Portuguese and Manchester City midfielder, Bernardo Silva, has admitted that Premier League (PL) leaders, Arsenal are now a very dangerous team to take for granted.
He also said his team can no longer continue to drop points this season after their 1-1 draw against Everton at the Etihad in their last match.
Manchester City are currently eight points behind leaders, Arsenal and they travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea on Thursday night.
Meanwhile, the Gunners who welcomed Newcastle United to the Emirate on Tuesday night, were held to a goalless draw, meaning a win for City could help reduce the gap to five points.

Silva talking about their game against Chelsea said the season has become a little difficult even though it is yet to reach the mid-way mark.
He went on to caution his teammate saying they can not afford to drop points any longer because Arsenal have shown that they are a serious contender.
He said: “We haven’t reached the halfway mark of the Premier League, it’s getting difficult because if you keep slipping the gap can get bigger.
“You see the way Arsenal are, their energy and hunger, it is a very dangerous team because you feel these things,”
Meanwhile, Bernardo Silva has revealed the decision to drop his national team captain, Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal’s World Cup last-16 game against Switzerland was ‘not a shock’ to him.
According to him, this is because the coach broke the news to the players two hours before kick-off.
Speaking on the development, he told Record, “Between us, we talked and asked ‘could it be, would it not be?’, because the players talked.
“But we only found out about the team in the locker room when we arrived at the stadium two hours before the game.”
