Bella Shmurda also said he began to drink heavily in a bid to cope with Mohbad’s sudden death

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, popularly known as Bella Shmurda has promised to take responsibility for Mohbad’s son, Liam following the demise of his father, who was his colleague and close friend.
The ‘Cash App’ crooner made the pledge via his Instagram page, where he also admitted he has been struggling to cope with the shock of losing the singer.
He went on to say he began to drink heavily in a bid to cope with the reality of his sudden death.
Shmurda further said he regretted that Liam, whom he named after his late father, would grow up not knowing his dad.

He, however, promised to take care of his son and continue to maintain his legacy.
Sharing a picture of Mohbad, on his social media page, Bella Shmurda wrote: “You told me to stop it [mourning]. [I] have been trying. I just hope you’re okay where you are, cos [I] have not been happy for days. [I] have been drinking and going back and forth on how to move on.
“It’s sad [that] Abiola Imole never got to know you. But be rest assured [that] I will tell your story. And I will definitely take care of our fruit [son]. I’m passing all the love to our sons.
“Lol. Lowkey, I’m Bell and Sons Inc.”
