Barcelona suffer double injury blow ahead of La Liga, UCL clashes

Barcelona will play Real Sociedad on Sunday in a league game before facing PSG in a UCL encounter next Wednesday.

La Liga Champions, Barcelona have suffered a double injury blow to key players as they prepare for league action  and Champions League game with Real Sociedad and  French club, Paris St Germain (PSG) respectively.

The Spanish giants will be without winger, Raphinha and goalkeeper, Joan García, as both players are set for spells on the sidelines.

While Raphinha will miss three weeks of action with a hamstring injury, García will be unavailable for six weeks due to a meniscus problem in his knee.

Prior to this development, Barcelona players, Gavi and Fermín López had been ruled out for five months and three weeks respectively.

All four players will be out of action until at least after the international break.

This means they will all miss the league game against Real Sociedad on Sunday and the UEFA Champions League (UCL) group game with PSG next Wednesday.
