The Delta ports have suffered infrastructural decay for close to three decades as operators and government agencies have expressed worries over government neglect and under utilisation of the facilities.

The government through the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) recently concessioned the Warri port to Sifax Group.

The former vice president affirmed that the state witnessed massive development since 1999, thus no point to vote another party that has not done anything for the state.

“I will renovate all the sea ports in Delta state. I will also complete all abandoned infrastructure projects by the FG because you are opposition state.

“I promise I will deliver on these promises,” he said.
