Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has assured the people of Ibadan in Oyo State, that the newly crowned Olubadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, will “create impact” during his reign.
He made this known on Saturday in a post he shared on his X page while congratulating Ladoja on his coronation as the 44th monarch of Ibadan.
The former Vice President added that
“sons and daughters” of the largest West African city will benefit from the Monarch’s wealth of experience as a businessman and politician.
He further noted that the people of Ibadan are lucky to have a man with a diverse worldview like the former Oyo State governor as their king.

Speaking via his verified social media handle, Atiku wrote: “I congratulate my brother and compatriot, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja Arusa I on his installation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan.
“I am confident that Oba Ladoja would bring his wealth of experience as a businessman, politician, and seasoned administrator into his new role as the Olubadan.
“I have no doubt that just like his tenure as governor created the template for the development of modern Oyo State, Oba Ladoja will create an impact as Olubadan that every son and daughter of Ibadan, and friends of the ancient city like me, would be proud of.
“I join other friends and associates of Oba Ladoja to congratulate the good people of Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole to welcome the dawn of a new and glorious era of Oba Ladoja’s reign.”
