Athletics: Nesiama to officiate at Africa U-18, U-20 Champs in Algeria

Retired Navy Commodore Omatseye Nesiama has been named to officiate by CAA for the 3rd Africa U18/U20 combined championships
The confederation of Africa Athletics (CAA,) appointed the two-time technical subcommittee head of the AFN, Commodore Nesiama as a referee for the 3rd Africa U18/U20 combined championships slated for Oran, Algeria.
Reports have it that the appointment was conveyed in a letter signed by the Director-General of the CAA, Lamine Faty.
Nesiama is the first and only Nigerian among 19 Africans licensed Athletes’ representative by World Athletics.
Nesiama is also an International technical official and a World Athletics certified lecturer.
The soft speaking general has taken his officiating trade to.World.Athletics Championship, Africa Games, Africa U-18 and 20 junior athletics championship in Ghana and other parts of the world.
His tenure as AFN.technical was spectacular and rewarding for athletics owing to.his.aproach.and. camdour.
