Arokodare sends message to Wolves’ fans after netting first goal for EPL club

Arokodare joined the English Premier League side from Belgian Jupiler League club, Genk on deadline day.

Wolverhampton Wanderers striker, Tolu Arokodare has assured fans of the club that he will score more goals after netting his first goal for the club on Tuesday night in a Carabao Cup fixture.

Vitor Pereira’s men saw off fellow English Premier League (EPL) opponents, Everton 2-0 in the game played at the Molineux Stadium.

Marshall Munetsi opened the scoring for the home side in the first half by slotting in the rebound after Mark Travers had parried Jhon Arias’ wicked left-footed volley.

Arokodare, who came off the bench in the 68th minute then sealed the win late in the game with a deft chip over the goalkeeper.

It was a lovely finish, and his coach, Pereira, after the game admitted he didn’t expect the Nigerian international to finish the way he did.

On his part, Arokodare took to his Instagram page and told Wolve’s fans to expect more goals.

He wrote, “First goal in gold and we pray for more. Next round let’s go!! #teatime ?☕️”
