Arojah Royal Theatre converges on Abuja for poetry

Arojah Royal Theatre will on Friday, April 15, 2016, in Abuja hold an evening of poetry and theatre tagged, ‘Transtromer meets Soyinka’.

According to the Artistic Director of the group, Jerry Adesewo, the production is with the support of the Swedish Embassy “in continuation of our ‘Cultural Diplomacy Initiative’ productions which was launched in 2014”.

He urged those resident in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and those who may be in town to attend with their families and friends as they “shall be treated to the best of poetry performances, spoken word and poetic play titled: ‘What the Hunter Saw’.”

He said that the event is free but intending guests are expected to book ahead of time to be assured of a space. Venue is the Centre Stage Event Centre, Cyprien Ekwensi Centre for  Arts and Culture, Area 10, Garki, Abuja and time is  5.30p.m.
