Apostle Johnson Suleman thrilled Arsenal leapfrogged United

Apostle Johnson Suleman, a die-hard Arsenal fan, was elated his team are looking good for a Champions League spot after defeating Leicester

Nigerian televangelist and the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman has commended Arsenal for regaining the 4th spot in the Premier League over the weekend.

The senior pastor made this known via his Twitter handle, where he suggested Arsenal are now in the driving seat since United have played three games more.  

United had on Saturday claimed the fourth spot after beating Tottenham Hotspurs 3-2 at Old Trafford, with Portuguese striker,  Christiano Ronaldo scoring a hattrick.

But The Gunners, leapfrogged them into the fourth position after victory over Wilfred Ndidi’s Leicester City on Sunday, with goals from Thomas Partey and Alexandre Lacazette sealing the crucial Premier League win.

Arteta maintained the same side that defeated Watford 3-2 a week earlier and the cleric, who is a die-hard Arsenal fan, was elated that the Gunners are looking good for the final Champions League spot.

Apostle Johnson Suleman praised the team for reclaiming the fourth position from The Red Devils, he also argued their three games in hand, is an added advantage in the quest to play Champions League football next season.

“Now that’s how you play at home to climb back to top 4 with 3 games in hand,”  he tweeted.

The 50-year-old cleric also singled out two players for their outstanding performances in the resounding win over Leicester City on Sunday. 

“Odegaard is a baller. Partey also! The whole team played well. Brilliant,” he added.
