The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday night unveiled a new presidential campaign council list following the controversy that greeted the first one.
The list was released by the national secretary of the party, Senator Iyiola Omisore, as against the previous one released by James Faleke.
The changes in the new list sees the national chairman Abdullahi Adamu rise to number two on the campaign list right below President Muhammadu Buhari who retains his position as the chairman of the council.
Tinubu drops from deputy chairman I to deputy chairman II while the party’s Adamu takes the position of deputy chairman I.
Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, retains his position as director general; while Adams Oshiomhole was named as deputy director-general, operations and Faleke as secretary.

In the same adjusted APC presidential campaign list, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; former secretary to the government of the federation, Babachir Lawal; former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara; director-general of the Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechukwu; former minister of communications, Adebayo Shittu, were conspicuously missing again.
There were also new additions like Juju maestro, Sir Shina Peters in creative arts; Tinubu’s running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima; Mahmood Ahmed and Imman Ibrahim were drafted into fund raising directorate while a war veteran, Major General Cecil Esekhaigbe (retd.) completed the seven-man intelligence and security directorate.
The APC campaign list also has newly created directorates such as finance planning, grassroots engagement and orientation, special duties, campaign planning, agro commodities and civil societies included in the list while the creative arts department was expanded from 20 actors to accommodate 11 additional celebrities.
