Annie Idibia after a long absence, made a return to social media on Thursday March 27.

Annie Idibia, popular Nigerian actress and estranged wife of ace Afrobeats singer, Innocent Idibia, aka 2Face, has sent tongues wagging on social media after reverting to her maiden name.
The duo got married in 2012, but 2Face in January 2025, announced that he was separating from Annie.
Since then, the thespian has been seen online. She, however, made a return to social media on Thursday March 27.
Breaking her silence after deleting all posts on her Instagram page, Annie dropped 2Face’s surname, Idibia and picked up her maiden name, Macaulay.

Speaking via her verified social media page she appreciated her followers and other netizens for standing by her during her trying times.
She wrote, “To My family and friends who came through for me, the support system i have now, all my amazing family here and all over the world, God bless you for the outpouring of love.
“I appreciate every single one of you and I don’t take any of it for granted, may the universe continue to be in your favor. Lots of LOVE. Annie Uwana Macaulay”.
However, despite adopting her maiden name, Annie is yet to remove Idibia from her IG profile..
