Amorim made this known after Man United’s lost third consecutive Premier League match on Monday night

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has said his team could be relegated from the English Premier League (EPL) this season if his players don’t up their game.
The Portuguese gaffer made the admittance while speaking after visiting Newcastle United defeated the Red Devils 2-0 in front of their home fans at Old Trafford on Monday night.
The defeat was the Manchester club’s third consecutive loss in the Premier League.
Man United have remained in the top flight since winning promotion back to the old First Division in 1975.

However, following the latest defeat, Amorim’s men are only seven points above the drop-zone at the halfway point of the season.
Speaking at his post match conference after the latest defeat, Amorim said, “I think that it [relegation] is a possibility and we have to be clear with our fans.
“We have to change something but this season will be really hard on everybody. It can make us stronger and we have to fight.”
