Amb. Farida Ahmed calls for global peace, unity, charity at AMJON annual conference

Humanitarian entrepreneur and Global Peace Ambassador, Dr. Prevail Farida Olayinka Ahmed, has urged all sectors of the economy to embrace unity, conduct businesses in peace and harmony, and consistently give back to society through charity.
Dr. Ahmed made the call in her goodwill message at the Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) Annual Conference and Awards held on Thursday at Rockview Hotel, Apapa, Lagos.
Before receiving one of the top awards of the night, Amb. Ahmed was introduced as the Founder and Global President of the Peace, Progress and Unity Global Initiative (PPUGI) and Farida Charity Foundation. She also serves as Chief Operating Officer of Lumiere Link International Nigeria, CEO of LP Events & More, and Managing Director/CEO of PFA Consulting Firm.
A distinguished Global Peace Ambassador and ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, Dr. Ahmed is a passionate advocate for men’s mental health and youth development. Her leadership has earned her fellowships from prestigious institutions, including CUPAG USA and ILMMD-UK.
Renowned for her impact-driven initiatives, she has championed community development, education, and health awareness across various platforms. A sought-after public speaker, she continues to inspire global audiences on the themes of leadership and empowerment.
Her numerous recognitions, including the Golden Role Model Award, underscore her unwavering commitment to humanity and sustainable development.
In her remarks, Amb. Ahmed noted that humanitarian service remains the cornerstone of her life’s work. She expressed deep gratitude to the leadership and members of AMJON, as well as guests present, for honouring her with the award.
