Aiyedatiwa declares Monday public holiday for his inauguration as new governor

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has declared Monday, 24th of February 2025, as a public holiday in the State.

In a statement issued on Friday in Akure, the state capital by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan said that the work-free day will allow the people of the State to participate in the activities of the inauguration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and Deputy Governor Olayide Owolabi Adelami.

Meanwhile, Governor Aiyedatiwa has directed the cancellation of restriction of movement on Saturday, 22nd of February 2025 during the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.

While there will be no restriction of movement on Saturday, residents are still expected to clean their environment.
