Ondo State Governor,  Lucky Aiyedatiwa after his inauguration as the 7th democratically elected governor of the state on Monday, February 24, approved the appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

This was disclosed in a statement issued and made available to journalists by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Ebenezer Adeniyan.

According to the CPS, the new SSG was the chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board, before his latest appointment.

Taiwo, a medical doctor, is the son of the National Leader of the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

Apart from the appointment of the SSG, the governor went on to reappoint the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Kayode Ajulo, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs Omowunmi Isaac.

Aiyedatiwa also reappointed five special advisers, who served in the just-concluded administration, while the status of the senior special assistant to the governor on infrastructure, lands and housing, Abiola Olawoye, was upgraded to that of special adviser.
