Elder statesman, Ahmad Joda, is dead, according to Daily Trust.
The newspaper reported that he died at the Federal Medical Centre, Yola, Adamawa today, August 13.
Joda held the position of permanent secretary in the 70s.
He chaired the transition committee of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.
