The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted the inauguration of its Anambra governorship national campaign council, earlier scheduled for today, Monday, September 2, to Thursday, September 9. The exercise which was earlier fixed for Thursday, September 2, was shifted to Monday, Sept 6.

This comes on the heels of the promise by Valentine Ozigbo, the party’s flag-bearer in the November governorship election, to promote tourism with special attention to elevating the culture and traditions of the Igbo people if elected.

The latest shift in the inauguration of the campaign council is said to do with the inability of the governors on the platform of the party to attend due to an emergency gathering of the governors and other leaders across the country in Jos Plateau State over critical security issues.
