Okowa Condoles Kano State Govt , NSC over loss of athletes in auto Crash.

The President Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Chief Tonobok Okowa has sent a Condolence message to the sporting family and the people of Kano over the tragic loss of their Athletes and officials who where returning from the just concluded Gateway Games in Abeokuta,Ogun State.
“It is with deep sorrow and a heavy heart that I extend my condolences to the entire Nigerian sporting family, particularly the Government and people of Kano State, over the tragic accident involving members of the Kano State contingent returning from the National Sports Festival, Gateway Games in Ogun State.
“The loss of these young and vibrant athletes—who gave their all to represent their state is a heartbreaking tragedy. Their dedication, courage, and passion for sports are commendable and will never be forgotten.
“My thoughts and prayers as the President of Athletics federation of Nigeria (AFN) are with the bereaved families, teammates, coaches, and all who have been affected by this terrible loss. I stand in solidarity with the entire Kano State sports commission and share in their grief during this incredibly difficult time.
“May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace, and may their memory continue to inspire hope and commitment in the hearts of those they have left behind.”
