The Super Eagles of Nigeria have sent the Bafana Bafana back to South Africa with a 2-1 victory at the ongoing African Nations Cup in Egypt.

The dazzling Nigerian winger, Sam Chukwuezi, made the difference in the 27th minute, when he intercepted a pass inside the 18 yard box of the South African side from Jude Ighalo’s pass via Alex Iwobi.

Nigeria pulled out Musa and brought in Moses Simon, whose corner kick in the 89th minute resulted in Nigeria’s winning goal through Troost Ekong.

Chukwuezi won the man of the match.

Earlier, Senegal defeated Benin Republic 1-0 to book a place in the semi-final stage.
