Delta chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has been inaugurated with a blast at both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) for having failed Nigerians woefully in their combined rule since the return of democracy in 1999.

ADC chieftain Festus Igbinoba levelled the charge in Effurun, Uvwie Council in Delta that the APC has even disappointed more in its rule since 2015 amid the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from the shackles of economic mismanagement.

Igbinoba receive new ADC members from different political parties, saying the opposition coalition has come to stay in Delta.

“We are here today to officially unveil Delta State chapter of the ADC ahead of the 2027 general elections so as to rescue Nigeria from the shackles of economic challenges we are facing now,” he explained.

“With ADC, Nigeria will be repositioned for a better future, because APC and PDP have failed Nigerians woefully.”

He implored ADC members, including the new ones, to propagate the message of the party across their units, wards, and councils in order to grow the coalition.

Delta Central ADC Coordinator Julius Akpovoka said: “We thank God for today’s meeting of the unveiling of ADC.

“I commend every member of different political parties who has come to identify with ADC. You are now an automatic member of ADC. You have to abide by the rules and regulations and respect the leadership of the party.

“ADC is the only opposition party in Delta and by the special grace of God, ADC will take over Delta State and at the national level, because APC and PDP have disappointed us.

“We will continue to remain committed to ensure that the dream of repositioning Nigeria for better future will be guaranteed.”
