Nollywood actor, Denola Grey has argued that popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky was convicted just to prove a point and not because he mutilated the Naira.
He made this known on his X handle while reacting to the social media influence’s recent sentencing by a Lagos High Court.
TheNiche had earlier reported that Justice Abimbola Awogboro, on Friday, April 12, sentenced Bobrisky to six months in jail without the option of a fine after he was convicted of Naira abuse.
However, reacting to the development, Grey, whose dress sense is also a controversial tropic, said there is more to the sentence than meets the eye.

According to him, Bobrisky’s sentencing had nothing to do with the naira abuse he was convicted for, he was only being used as a “scapegoat.”
Speaking via his social media page, Denola Grey tweeted: “We all know this isn’t about spraying [Naira]. They are scapegoating her and using this BS as a reason.
