Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s derangement on Twitter and self-implosion of an illiterate vessel of hate
By Lilian Onoh
“Ode! You go to INDONESIA, carry drugs, do cultism and come begging to be rescued from death sentence. Thank God for @ndlea_nigeria now saving people like you from death row.” (Abike Dabiri Erewa, Chairman of NIDCOM, to Nigerian students in INDIA, October 2022, Twitter)
Abike Dabiri-Erewa’s verbal and behavioural diarrhea are truly terrifying.
In August 2022, Nigerian students at a university in India clashed with Indians over a football match and took refuge at the Nigerian Mission in India for their safety. During the course of the Twitter updates, one of the students referred to Abike Dabiri as a mumu supporting the failed Buhari Government.
Enraged, Abike, in a global Twitter meltdown, displayed not only her imbecility in not knowing that India and Indonesia are different, but most egregiously called Nigerian students in India drug pushers and cultists in Indonesia who “come begging(!) to be rescued from death sentence.”
The woman paid by the Nigerian Government with public funds to advocate for citizens in the Diaspora told the whole world that the citizens she was paid to advocate for were drug traffickers, cultists and worthy of the death penalty. She considered the constitutional right of citizens in need of advocacy – what she is paid to do – as “begging.”
It’s impossible to quantify the damage her words did, and continues to do, to Nigerians overseas.
Nobody knows how many Nigerians were executed without due process because of her statement. South Africans labelled Nigerians as drug kingpins and unleashed hell on our citizens and murdered so many. With the condemnation of Abike Dabiri, the Nigerian Government’s representative in charge of advocating for them, advocating for them became impossible, whether they were guilty, framed or convicted without due process.
In the midst of this horrific post, Oby Ezekwesili, recognising the incalculable damage Abike had done, quickly tried to pull her back from the pit and posted: “Dear Abike, what is this? Kai. This is messy. Please clean it up. Quickly. Please.”
Abike, not understanding that Oby Ezekwesili was referring to her blanket destruction of the reputation of Nigerians in the Diaspora, doubled down and claimed she was responding to “bullying”!
This is the person the Nigerian Government deems to be the best person to advocate for citizens in the Diaspora – citizens she refers to as beggars and whom she already condemned as guilty of the most heinous crimes; and told the world so on Twitter. Our citizens continue to be killed, justified by Abike’s words.
Compare the above response to being called a mumu supporting the provably failed Buhari Government to her reaction in September 2025 when her fellow hate-monger referred to Igbos as, “Monkeys and bastard offspring of gorillas.”

To Abike, that was not bullying or abuse, but cause for celebration and amplification, with 13 laughter emojis attached.
Her various vituperations on Arise TV, Twitter and other social media abusing Igbos are too numerous to mention. The internet is replete with petitions and complaints about the uncontrolled conduct and verbal diarrhoea of this vile vessel of hate. She even had the temerity to berate Kemi Badenoch, the first black leader of a British Political Party about her comments on Nigeria.
Last week (March 2, 2026), she again descended to the pits of unacceptable conduct for anybody, let alone a public officer, when she plagiarised my work and tried to pass it off as her original thinking – a display of moral turpitude and intellectual bankruptcy that I exposed. Worse, she hadn’t even realised that what she plagiarised condemned her vile conduct.
In her incandescent rage at being exposed as a plagiarist, she has churned out rubbish after rubbish, hiding behind the veil of her imaginary bi-polar identity, Moradeke Kolawole; with each rant literally doing copy and paste of my work and applying it to herself. I inadvertently became her English teacher because as soon as she learnt any new expression from my articles, she would use it in her next bi-polar rant.
After I wrote that she was a rabid ethnic bigot for her vile utterances about Igbos, she immediately cried that I should stop being a rabid ethnic bigot. The illiterate woman did not understand that she alone is not the entire Yoruba group, and that calling her out on her reprehensible behaviour does not qualify as ethnic bigotry!
When I pointed out her obsession with Anambra men, one of whom allegedly rejected her unwanted desire/love/lust, as well as her obsessive fixation on Peter Obi who she inexplicably dragged into her rant in another possible case of unrequited love, she cried that I was obsessed with her! Imagine!
Then, in a global meltdown that would shame a three-year-old, she went after Professor Chidi Odinkalu, a whole Professor of International Human Rights Law from Tufts University, USA (one of the world’s best) demanding that he publish her rant against me, penned under the name of her bi-polar incarnation, Moradeke.
Anyone with any academic background knows what it takes to be not only a PhD holder but to become a Professor. And not a professor at just any university but at Tufts!
Yet Abike Dabiri, whose daily vituperations render her academic qualifications a joke, had the audacity to try to command this Professor with a stratospheric IQ, to publish and amplify her incoherent plagiarised ramblings on his personal Twitter page!
I don’t blame her. I blame the governments that decided to give her a platform to open her uncouth mouth without the brain power to back it up.
Her exact words to the eminent Professor were: “You need to read this! And publish it too!”
His response, short but packing a whopper, was: “…Of course. If I see a piece of writing by you I sure will read it & amplify. Unfortunately, I do not have the bandwidth for folks who borrow someone else’s issues, or worse, those who write under a #NomDePlume.” Ouch!
This simple response was potent, pointing out the absurdity of Abike’s cowardice of hiding behind the imaginary Moradeke whilst publicly demanding for the amplification of her bi-polar half’s ravings on someone’s personal Twitter account!
The mask had come off in spectacular fashion but she didn’t even realise it.
Abike lost her mind at being asked to actually have the confidence to write under her own name; and in demented, incontinent rage, she actually blocked him! To Abike, being asked to append her name to her writings instead of hiding behind her imaginary friend Moradeke, was cause for a meltdown. But amplifying and promoting gross ethnic hate mongering against Igbos with 13 laughter emojis, as well as calling an entire Nigerian Diaspora student population in India drug traffickers, cultists and beggars deserving the death sentence, was fully justified.
In continuation of her inability to understand her position as a public officer representing the President, Abike decided that simply blocking Professor Odinkalu was not enough because she hadn’t cursed him out. So she posted yet another message to him, the very person she had blocked, addressing him as, “Mr. Messenger.” And to ensure the whole world was aware of her derangement, she re-posted the entire interaction on Twitter!
Prof. Odinkalu’s response was a master-class in demolition: “…She makes no effort to hide the fact that she is a #public officer with no sense of either public or of officer. The only sentiment for this type is pity.”
In a situation where it is clear that President Tinubu, who is allegedly behind all Abike’s appointments since 1999, is unlikely to take action against her, God made it possible for her to lose her senses, repeatedly expose herself on the internet; ridiculing both her and those who keep putting her in positions she is woefully unqualified to hold.
But the best part of the past few days has been that Abike, in her Twitter meltdown against Professor Odinkalu, exposed that she and Moradeke are one and the same person (Bi-polar disorder 101).
She desperately tried to divert my attention by republishing Sahara Reporters’ lies which are the subject of an ongoing defamation suit in Texas. I wonder why she would expect me to answer to an imaginary Moradeke Kolawole – a figment that lives only in Abike’s delusional mind.
I completed my tenure as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary with distinction. I am not a public servant.
But it is Abike, the public servant paid by tax-payers to advocate for Nigerians in the Diaspora, that:
a) Abused Nigerian students in India as drug traffickers and cultists in Indonesia, begging for her intervention.
b) Posted 13 laugher emojis when reposting and amplifying a vile ethnic attack on Igbos;
c) Abused one of Nigeria’s premier global Professors on Twitter, exposing her bi-polar personality disorder and behavioural diarrhoea;
d) Plagiarised my articles again and again;
e) Claimed, without credible evidence, that 20 out of 21 Nigerians on death row in Indonesia are from Anambra State; and that Igbos are responsible for all Nigeria’s criminality overseas;
f) Removed Igbos from Government evacuation buses in the middle of the Sahara Desert, according to multiple reports, including from diplomats;
g) Displays an obsessive fixation on men from Anambra State allegedly due to the understandable rejection of her unrequited love; and is clearly obsessed with Peter Obi in what appears to be yet another case of unrequited love for an Anambra man.
h) Displays a total lack of control in her ranting and raving.
Her behavioural diarrhoea endangers our citizens abroad, who expect advocacy but are considered as beggars and criminals by their Government designated “advocate”, Abike Dabiri Erewa.
I will await her next plagiarised headline because the imaginary Moradeke (A.K.A. Abike) exists for the sole purpose of obsessively reading and plagiarising my articles. But as a friend, Q.A.A. commented: “I don’t think she (Abike) is learned enough to understand what you are writing.”
Sat Guru Maharaj Ji’s description is still the best: “She [Abike] operates more like the wife of a spiritually bankrupted and mentally degenerate actor promoting the god of the dead than as the head of an important government establishment.’”
Deliverance Pastors and Priests, please save Abike from her “spiritual twin”, Moradeke Kolawole.
