Want to get married? Get on Tinsel

-

It would seem that the MNet soap, Tinsel, has become a fertile ground for those seriously searching. Not one, not two; at least three couples have met and are either married, living together or are about to take the life-changing step.

The first to do so were Ike Okechukwu and Florence Uwaleke, who have been married for over a year and are still on the soap. Then it was the turn of the Ghanaian, Chris Attoh, who hooked Damilola Adegbite, and they have been an item for a while.

The Ghanaian proposed to the former Tinsel star only recently, and those close to them say there is no going back. This is not because she is heavily pregnant.

News of this dramatic proposal had barely gone out when earlier in the the week another Tinsel star, who is also a model, Gbenro Ajibade, popped the “the big question” to Osas Ighodalo, also a Tinsel star. He chose to do it on his Instagram page:

“Four words, 14 letters that take forever to say; with you, these words are too important to let them have their way. You’ve had my back for endless days, knowing my habitual ways, seen my worst and still stood by me. Even when my best of friends deserted me and strings weren’t attached between us, you were there staying strong, inspiring, motivating and loyal to our friendship, regardless of all my madness. I can say I am forever grateful and I love you in so many ways, but none is clearer than committing my days. Osas, grow old with me; for the best is yet to be.”

She said “Yes!”

One only wonders which couple will be next. It may just be someone out there who needs to get onto the show to get hooked.
