Nigerian comedian Abdulgafar Ahmad Oluwatoyin, better known as Cute Abiola, has lamented the hardship brought about by the inability of the President Bola Tinubu-led government to provide adequate electricity, saying even his solar power supply has gone off.
He slammed the administration on Thursday, 6 November, via a video shared online on his verified Instagram handle.
Cute Abiola went on to urge the president to provide electricity for Nigerians, stressing that the lack of power has brought untold hardship on the citizens.

While expressing his frustration over the development, he wrote, “President Tinubu, my solar is off. Please, for God’s sake, help us. My solar is off right now. Please, everywhere is hot. The suffering is too much. Please, there’s no light. Abeg.”
Cute Abiola further criticised what he portrayed as the government’s focus on Tinubu’s re-election while Nigerians continue to struggle with challenges.
While noting how bad the supply of electricity in the country currently is, he sarcastically remarked, “Buy solar, buy solar. Solar sef dey off.”
