Chelsea forward Pedro Neto has dedicated his brace in the Premier League match against Everton on Saturday to Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus, noting the gaffer helped improve his composure in front of goal.
The 26-year-old winger made this known while speaking with TNT Sports after the Blues defeated their hosts 2-0 at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Neto broke the deadlock in the entertaining encounter in the 46th minute before ensuring Chelsea went home with all three points after finding the net once again in the 90th minute.
Reacting to his feat after the match, the Portuguese international credited his improvement in front of goal to his national team manager and expressed satisfaction with his progress.
According to him, Jesus advised him to direct the ball into the net with precision rather than relying solely on striking power.

Neto said: “This comes a little bit from the new coach of the national team, who says when you are near the area, you need to pass to the goal, so really happy with that.”
Speaking on the match outcome, the Chelsea forward emphasised the importance of keeping a clean sheet, saying:
”We required a clean sheet, to be frank. I believe we delivered an excellent performance. Emi merited this achievement, as did Mike. It carries considerable importance.
”We recognise that away fixtures present challenges; even domestic matches offer no guarantees of ease.
”We approached this encounter with determination and strong resolve to secure victory, and we are genuinely satisfied with the outcome.”
