Nollywood actress and model Damilola Adegbite has offered relationship and marriage titbits to women who are desirous of a romantic affair that would serve them.
Speaking in the latest episode of her podcast show, RESET with Damilola Adegbite, which has since been uploaded to her YouTube channel, the thespian urged single ladies not to accept relationship or marriage proposals from men simply because they chose them.
According to the 41-year-old, rather than being in a relationship because that is what is on offer, women should settle only for men who are right for them.
Adegbite further noted that some ladies often settle for men who are ready to settle down simply because the men chose them, without considering whether they are right for them.

She said, “Ladies, don’t choose someone because they chose you. Choose someone because they are right for you; whether he’s younger, older or exactly your age, the question is always: Can we love, support, and build with each other?
“Because at the end of the day, we are not looking for numbers. We are looking for a partner. And if that partner happens to be younger, that is also fine.”
Adegbite went on to advise older women not to accept proposals from younger men simply because they are younger.
She urged them to assess whether the prospective younger partner is respectful and emotionally mature before accepting him.
She added, “To the older woman, if a younger man is interested in you, please don’t make the mistake of choosing him because he makes you feel desirable. Choose him because he respects, supports, and makes you feel safe.
“Only choose him if he is emotionally mature and knows what he wants, respects your children and your life, and actually wants to build something with you.”
