Burna Boy, while responding, urged the audience attending the event to prepare for an experience they will never “forget.”

The National Football League (NFL) has revealed that Nigerian Afrobeats star Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, will take centre stage during the halftime show of the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 25, at the Stade de France in Paris.
The American sports governing body named the GRAMMY Award-winning singer as the headline performer on Thursday.
The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Central European Summer Time (9:30 a.m. ET), with Burna Boy’s performance forming part of the NFL’s international games programme for the 2026 season.
According to the NFL, the Paris performance will be one of seven halftime shows staged across its 2026 International Games, spanning seven countries and four continents.
Reacting to the announcement, Burna Boy acknowledged that Paris gave him a major break in his career.
”Paris gave me one of the biggest nights of my career, and to walk back into Stade de France for a moment like this means everything,” he said.

The “Last Last” hitmaker urged the audience to prepare for an unforgettable night.
“The NFL is bringing something to France that has never happened here before, and I get to stand in the middle of it representing African music. I intend to give the people a show they will not forget,” Burna added.
Meanwhile, the NFL’s Senior Director of Global Game Presentation, Music, and Entertainment, Tim Tubito, said the 35-year-old artist was well suited to perform at what will be the league’s first game in France.
“The first NFL game in France deserves a halftime moment that matches the occasion, and there is no artist better suited to it than Burna Boy,” he said.
Tubito further noted, “Paris is one of the great cultural capitals of the world, and African music sits right at the heart of what the city listens to. Burna Boy has already made history in this stadium, and bringing him back to perform in front of a global audience gives us the chance to create something genuinely memorable. We look forward to collaborating with him on a performance that captures the energy matching the moment.”
