The veteran thespian made this known in a recent post on his official Instagram page after his fans expressed concern over the rumour.
In the now-trending video, which surfaced online last week, Olaiya looked weak and unwell, prompting speculation about his health.

He noted that the scene was so convincing that many viewers mistakenly believed he was genuinely battling a severe illness.

“I have seen some people wishing me to die. For those who are genuinely concerned, please relax. There is no problem. I was only acting my role; as you all know, I am a versatile actor,” he said.
Assuring his fans that he is in good health, Olaiya added: “It was an Oga Latin movie we were shooting, and one of the scenes required me to play a sick father. It went viral and caused concern amongst the public. Some understood that I was only acting, whilst others thought I was actually sick and checked up on me.
