Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has disclosed that French winger, Bradley Barcola, moved from the Ligue 1 outfit to Premier League giants Liverpool this summer to get more first-team action.
The Spanish tactician made this known on Thursday during his pre-match press conference ahead of a Ligue 1 match against AS Monaco.
Liverpool signed Barcola before the summer transfer window closed for £106m, with add-ons potentially taking the fee to £123m.
The striker made 49 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions in all competitions last season, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists.

However, whilst justifying his decision to let him leave the Parc des Princes, Enrique said he could not guarantee the 23-year-old enough playing time.
Speaking before the league encounter, he said: “Barcola grew enormously in Paris, but he also helped the team grow enormously.
“He wanted more playing time than I could guarantee him.
“In the end, I think everyone is a winner with that transfer. I truly wish him all the best.”
