Cameroon defender Colette Ndzana has issued a strong warning to the Super Falcons of Nigeria, declaring her team’s readiness for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) quarter-final encounter against the holders.
She made this known ahead of tonight’s clash at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco.
The match will be the 14th WAFCON meeting between Nigeria and Cameroon, a fixture the Super Falcons have historically dominated.
While the defending champions have won nine times in open play and twice more via penalty shootouts, the Indomitable Lionesses have recorded just one victory and one draw.

The last time they met in the quarter-finals of the 2022 edition, the Super Falcons defeated Cameroon 1-0 to advance to the semi-finals.
However, speaking ahead of Sunday’s clash, Ndzana declared that she and her teammates are determined to put an end to their winless streak against the Nigerian side.
“We want to break any existing barriers. We shall remain focused. We know that this is a quarter-final.
“We are going into it with a great deal of humility,” Ndzana was quoted as saying by CAFonline.
