Lauren Bennett, the British pop singer best known for her featured vocals on LMFAO’s massive 2011 hit ‘Party Rock Anthem‘, has passed away at the age of 36.
The heartbreaking news was announced by her former band, G.R.L., in an official statement shared on their Instagram page.
Expressing their sorrow, the girl group wrote: “Our hearts are broken, and we can’t begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter and countless memories she gave us. Rest peacefully, sweet Lauren. You will always be in our hearts.”

Although the cause of her death has not yet been confirmed, it was reported by USA TODAY that Kent and Medway Coroner records show an inquest into the circumstances of her death has been scheduled for October.
