The ‘Akwaba’ crooner eulogised the thespian on Thursday in a now-trending video shared on her official Instagram page.
Ekubo was laid to rest in Arochukwu, Abia State, with several clips showing colleagues, celebrities, family, and close friends overcome with emotion.
Following the conclusion of the burial ceremony, Alade took to her verified handle to hail the late actor, stating he was the first to take her to the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) many years ago.
She added that Ekubo supported her early in her career in many ways and featured in several of her music videos.
