Barely a day after herbal vendor and social media personality Eniola Fagbemi, popularly known as Sisi Alagbo, apologised for the leak of a private adult tape, her husband, Adesola Akeem, has followed suit.

Speaking via a Facebook post following the incident, he took full responsibility for what transpired, stating that he has learnt from the experience.

A private video recently went viral containing explicit sexual content in which Sisi Alagbo was seen filming Adesola as he engaged in sexual relations with another woman while the trio were naked.

On Wednesday, the Oyo State-based herbal vendor admitted in a post on her verified handle that she was wrong to have participated in the act and asked for forgiveness.

She wrote: “I own my mistakes, and I apologise with all sincerity for the video circulating online.”

Alagbo went on to reveal that the backlash following the leaked video has taken a severe emotional toll on her life and well-being.

However, in a new post by her husband, Adesola, he accepted responsibility for the consequences of his “disappointing and embarrassing” behaviour.

He also pleaded for forgiveness from his family, friends, fans, religious bodies, and Nigerians as a whole, admitting his actions did not meet the values and standards expected of him.

He further asked to be held accountable while seeking a period of “reflection, learning, and personal growth.”

He wrote: “I am writing with a strong sense of responsibility and genuine regret to sincerely apologise to my family, friends, business partners, religious leaders, fans, loved ones, and the whole Nigerian public for the recent incident involving a leaked sex scandal.

“I understand how upsetting, awkward, and worrying this has been, and I fully accept that my actions were wrong. I realise that my actions have not met the expectations and values that people—especially those who have trusted, supported, and believed in me—deserve.

“To my family, I am really sorry for the pain and sadness this has caused you. To my friends and colleagues, I’m sorry if this has affected our relationships or damaged our good name.

“I understand the seriousness of this misconduct and the importance of holding people accountable, especially to religious groups and moral organisations.

“To my fans and supporters, I deeply regret letting you down. I am using this time to reflect, learn, and grow as a person. I want to make better choices, repair the trust that has been lost, and remain honest and true in both my personal and professional life going forward. I kindly ask for your support, forgiveness, and ongoing prayers as I strive to improve myself and become a better person.”
